XCOM: Enemy Unknown Landing on iOS This Summer

on March 24, 2013 3:28 AM

During a panel at PAX East Firaxis announced that XCOM: Enemy Unknown will be released for iOS platforms this summer.

According to what was said at the panel itself the game will include the full PC experience even if obviously we can’t expect the same visual fidelity and the control scheme will be touch-based.

To complement the announcement 2K Games released a video starring Lead Designer Jake Solomon as he introduces the game on the new platform. You can see it below.

It’s definitely an awesome game, so iPhone and iPhad owners that don’t have a full blown gaming PC should look into it. If you missed it, you can check out my review of the PC version here (it’s to be noted that the screenshots above is from the PC version, as we didn’t receive any of the iOS version yet).
