Xenoblade Chronicles Launches in Europe This Week

on August 14, 2011 2:00 PM

This week marks the beginning of the launch window for Xenoblade Chronicles in Europe. In the majority of the region it will launch on August 19th (Friday), but will be a week or two late in Russia and Italy. Nintendo has both thrown up a launch trailer for the highly-regarded Wii RPG, as well as opened a full-featured site dedicated to the game. So, if you’re interested in seeing the game and related media in English, you can check out the official site. After the break you can check out the trailer, although there isn’t a whole lot of voice acting in it (but what is there, is certainly in English).

We know Nintendo of America is actually aware of Xenoblade Chronicles‘ existance (contrary to popular belief) because the lovable Reggie pointed out that he will be watching sales of the title closely and may reconsider releasing it in North America if the opportunity presents itself.

He's a huge fan of iconic games like Secret of Mana, Final Fantasy VI and Persona 4 yet enjoys the smaller niche titles, as well. In his spare time he enjoys experiencing new beer, new foods and keeping up with just about every sci-fi show on television. He's married to an intelligent, beautiful Southern Belle who keeps his life interesting with witty banter and spicy Cajun cooking.
