It’s an early Christmas present from XLGAMES, as their founder and CEO Jake Song (you may know him as the creator of Lineage) announced via his personal twitter account that the English version of  ArcheAge is being worked on. The sandbox MMORPG will soon enter open beta in Korea, but now we have something to look forward to as well.

@djeedai @xlgames OBT will be in Korean only. We're working on English version.

While he afterwards clarified that XLGAMES won't directly publish the game in the West, today he added more fuel to the fire by specifying that the developer is currently in talks with Western publishers.

@sergocaba we are talking with some publishers

While there's still no mention of a release window or other specific information, can't say it's not great news for all those that are anxiously waiting for the game to be playable in a language they can understand. If you read Giuseppe's hands-on preview of the last phase of the Korean closed beta, you probably already know that he's between them.
