XSEED Brings Wii RPG Fragile Dreams to North America

Niche RPG publisher XSEED announced today that the Wii RPG Fragile: Farewell Ruins of the Moon will be published by them in North America. I’ve heard some good things about the Japanese release and, for sure, the Wii needs some more good RPGs! There is, however, a slight change to the title of the game, which is developed by Namco Bandai Games (the Tales series) and tri-Crescendo (Eternal Sonata). The North American title will be Fragile Dreams: Farewell Ruins of the Moon. Okay, so just an extra word, it still makes a difference!

Fragile Dreams follows Seto, our protagonist, exploring a seemingly abandoned world with nothing but his flashlight, which is controlled by waving the Wii Remote around to explore your surroundings, solve puzzles and just generally interact with your environment. It’s a fairly neat idea, if it can be pulled off correctly.

Look for Fragile Dreams in early 2010 from XSEED Games. If I had a Wii, I’d definitely be looking forward to this Wii-mote waving action.
