XSEED revealed that Story of Seasons and Rune Factory 4 have sold 150,000 and 200,000 units, respectively in North America.

To celebrate this milestone, the publisher will officially lower the SRP for each game to $29.99. This is the first time the Nintendo 3DS exclusives have received a price drop since their respective releases in March 2015 and October 2013.

Executive Vice President Ken Berry released a statement saying, “We feel incredibly fortunate to have such an amazing fan base for these games. The sales figures speak volumes as to how much fan support can affect what games we can bring to North America. We hope the long-awaited price drops will introduce the games to a new audience, gearing them up for the release of Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns in early 2017″.
