Yakuza 5 Gets Two New Gameplay Videos, Six TV Commercials

Yakuza 5 Producer Masayoshi Yokoyama sure loves to show the game to the five winners of the Miss Yakuza 5 contest. Today Sega released two more videos with him and the candidate from Sapporo as they chat over footage from the upcoming chapter of the series.

The videos are definitely interesting, as they show two of the “Another Drama” sections of the game. Kazuma Kiryu gets to drive his fully customizable cab in “Race Battles”, and even performing missions in which he’ll have to carry clients to their destination. ForgetĀ Grand Theft Auto though, as Kiryu will actually have to abide to traffic laws and respect pedestrians.

In the second video Taiga Saejima’s another drama brings him to the mountains of Hokkaido, hunting rabbits, deers and bears while he tries to survive in the freezing cold. I can already see the dimwits at PETA making a ruckus over this if the game will ever get a western release (and the rest of the world completely ignoring them).

In addition to the two videos the publisher also release a whopping six TV commercials, obviously not wanting to be outdone by Namco Bandai and the six TV ads of Tales of Xillia 2.

You can check out the whole bunch below.
