Today Sega announced that the upcoming Yakuza remake Yakuza Kiwami is going to get four batches of free DLC after its release.
This matches the Japanese version of the game, that also got the downloadable content when it launched over a year ago.
We get the Kiwami Fun Pack, the Kiwami Street Pack, the Kiwami Fun Pack 2, and the Kiwami Street Pack 2. The four packages include outfits, items, accessories, weapons, and pocket circuit parts to improve the already massive amount of content the game comes packed with.
The game is the remake of the old and glorious first Yakuza game, so it's a perfect sequel to the recently-released (in the west) prequel Yakuza 0. Early next year we're also getting Yakuza 6: The Song of Life, which concludes the saga of Kazuma Kiryu. Yet, more might be announced at the end of this month, during an event in Tokyo on August 26th.
Yakuza Kiwami releases exclusively for PS4 on August 29th.
