Year One Destiny Exotics Being Upgraded in December Update, New Year Two Exotics Announced

For those still sucked into the sprawling FPS MMO that is Destiny, the upcoming December update will bring a handful of Year One exotic weapons and armor up to Year Two power levels. Additionally, Bungie released images of brand new Year Two exotic armor. The announcements are being posted by Bungie on Destiny’s official Instagram page.

Upgraded Year One exotic weapons and armor include the following. If you are ingrained in the fan-base, chances are the names and abilities of these items are readily identifiable:

Primary Weapons:

  • MIDA Multi-Tool (Scout Rifle)
  • No Land Beyond (Sniper Rifle)
  • Hard Light (Auto Rifle)

Secondary Weapon:

  • Plan C (Fusion Rifle)

Heavy Weapons:

  • Dragon’s Breath (Rocket Launcher)
  • Super Good Advice (Machine Gun)

Exotic Helmet:

  • Achylophage Symbiote (Hunter)
  • Apotheosis Veil (Warlock)

Exotic Gauntlet:

  • Nothing Manacles (Warlock)

Exotic Chest Piece:

  • The Armamentarium (Titan)

Heavy Leg Armor:

  • Bones of Eao (Hunter)
  • Radiant Dance Machines (Hunter)
  • Peregrine Greaves (Titan)

Meanwhile, two new exotic Year Two armor chest pieces were announced:

  • ATS/8 Tarantella (Hunter)
  • Twilight Garrison (Titan)

There are likely more exotics incoming — Bungie seems to be posting new updates at 20 minute intervals. This article will be updated as more information becomes available.

According to Bungie, Destiny’s December update will bring multiple balance changes and two brand-new exotics for Year Two.
