Yono and the Celestial Elephants is a cute The Legend of Zelda-inspired puzzle adventure game starring an elephant from indie developer Neckbolt and publisher Plug In Digital. Today, during the Nindies Showcase, they released a brand new gameplay trailer and revealed that the game will be coming to the Nintendo Switch as a console exclusive on October 12.

In the world of Yono and the Celestial Elephants, the titular elephants a seen as almighty protectors of their word, but they are only birthed by the stars once every Millennium, with Yono being the newest one. Yono is young, so he is constantly getting into misadventures with the various humans, robotic Mekani, and undead that populate his world.

Yono and the Celestial Elephants' world is set to feature many carefully designed puzzles, as players can fill up Yono's trunk with different elements like air and water. Overall, the game will feature four towns, three huge dungeons that contain various enemies, puzzles, and intimidating bosses. The developers also confirmed today that Yono and the Celestial Elephants will support the Swedish, French, German, and Spanish languages.
