You Can Now Play World of Warcraft for FREE!*

Hot on the heels of Valve’s announcement that they’re making Team Fortress 2 free to play, Blizzard isn’t far behind with their own free-to-play announcement of sorts, revealing a new “Endless Trial” Mode for their MMORPG behemoth World of Warcraft. What does that mean?

Well, you can now play WoW for free, however long you want, as many times as you want. Instead of having a time limit, this time Blizzard’s implemented a hard level cap of 20, so until then, ¬†you can do whatever the hell you want in their engrossing world of, uh, warcraft.

Of course, there’s still some restrictions, so this isn’t truly free to play, but it’s still pretty huge news for those that have wanted to try out the game but the time limit was in the way of their attention span. Blizzard has a fairly robust FAQ about these changes, so read that for the details.
