I come bearing gifts. A big new batch of goodies which includes a ton of screenshots and a new trailer for F.3.A.R.’s different multiplayer modes: F**king Run!, Contractions, Soul Survivor and Soul King. F.3.A.R. is expected in stores fpr Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on May 24th across North America. Now, let’s just cut to the chase. The details can be found by reading more.

Contractions is where you will be placed on a team to fight waves of Alma’s minions. Collect weapons and build barricades in between fighting off the enemy, and watch out for the paranormal fog rolling through during each wave. It contains a lot of crazy stuff within its haze including Alma. There are a total of twenty waves.

This next multiplayer mode, F**king Run!, is one where you’ll need to work together as a team. It’s the only way to survive Alma’s Wall of Death. Help each other along the way because if any one member of the team gets swallowed by the Wall of Death, then it’s gameover for everybody.

Soul Survivor is a cooperative game mode where one player from the team has been corrupted by Alma and must turn against everyone. You’ll need to split up the F.E.A.R. team and Corrupt them; all while Armcham forces are assaulting. As each player dies by the Corrupted, they will then be turned into one as well to ultimately take out the soul survivor.

And the last mode for multiplayer is Soul King. The rules are simple: you are a ghost who needs to collect souls. The player with the most souls collected and the highest score at the end of the timed round is the winner. Watch out though because if you happen to get killed, you will lose half of your souls, which other players will be able to pick up off of you. Who said anything about collecting souls being easy?
