Ys Seven Collector's Edition Looks Awesome

Today, XSEED announced that a “Limited Collector’s Edition” of their upcoming ‘built from the ground up for the PSP’ RPG Ys Seven will be available when it releases at the end of August. This is the first release that will kick off XSEED’s new partnership with developer Nihon Falcom. The game looks pretty snazzy, and in all liklihood those of you who are fans of the Ys series will be pre-ordering this excellent collector’s edition. As of right now you can only get this “Limited Collector’s Edition” at GameStop or Amazon, so you might want to hit up those retailers if you’re looking to pre-order.┬áHere’s what it comes with:

  • A game soundtrack CD with more than 20 tracks.
  • A 60-page art book showcasing the art, not just from Ys Seven, but from Ys: The Oath in Felghana and Ys I & II Chronicles, as well.
  • A 12.5″ by 34″ cloth map that highlights the world you traverse in the Ys series.

Check that out! We don’t need no stinkin’ night vision goggles, we got ourselves a cloth map in this collector’s edition! The release of this title once again proves that the PSP is good for something – RPGs!
