Zelda II: The Adventure of Link is Out Now for Wii U’s eShop, Trailer Shows Off Excellent Gameplay

The classic yet heavily criticized Zelda II: The Adventure of Link has finally been released for Wii U’s Virtual Console on the eShop.

Zelda II is unique among all 2D The Legend of Zelda games, as this one is a side-scroller with much heavier RPG elements, such as an experience-point system and far more interaction with NPCs. However, it’s definitely an interesting game that tried to do something very different with the series. You can see the trailer posted just below.
