From Excalibur Publishing, the fine folks that brought you the premier farming simulator of the year, comes the announcement of an all-new game called Digger Simulator 2011. If farming wasn’t your thing, perhaps civil engineering will get your bloomers damp? Digger Simulator 2011 allows players to create their own civil engineering company, complete with construction vehicles to purchase, such as the heavy load roller!
The game sports a specially modeled ground system that contains different layers of dirt, soil, and other embedded materials. For those of you sick of the floaty, arcadey feel of past digging games, Digger Simulator 2011 comes with fully realistic physics, displayed at their finest while dredging and compacting the ground with your various construction vehicles.
Personally, I don’t know how Excalibur could top the precision and deep storytelling of Farming Simulator 2011, or even rival Forklift Truck Simulator 2009, Bus Simulator 2, or my favorite, German Truck Simulator, but the visuals do look stunning, and the sheer amount of details is impressive. I’ll definitely have to keep an eye out for this one when it drops on December 3rd for the PC.
