Five of Our Top Upcoming September Releases

  • Life is Strange: True Colors

Life is Strange: True Colors is the third game in this franchise that sees players take on the role of Alex Chen who views her abilities as a curse as she is able to sense other people’s emotions which can then influence her if they’re too strong.

This release will be available for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X on September 10, 2021.

  • NBA 2k22

NBA 2K22 is the latest title in the world-renowned, best-selling NBA 2K basketball video game series where you create your own legacy on the blacktop. While the game is available for all systems on September 10, it is best to get the PS5 or Xbox Series X versions as these will include most of the changes.

  • Deathloop

As the title suggests, this game is focused on a time loop. Players control Colt where his mission is to defeat enemies, break the time loop and get off of the island where he is stuck. It is not impossible for Colt to die, neither is it a negative thing. Each time he dies, he retains information and learns more about those he needs to defeat.

Deathloop is set to be released on PC and PS5 on September 14 as a timed exclusive.

  • Lost Judgement

Lost Judgement is an upcoming action-adventure video game that focuses on a private detective who investigates a criminal accused of both sexual harassment and murder. It will be available on September 24 via PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.

  • Hot Wheels Unleashed

Build your own virtual collection of vehicles in this video game based on your childhood. Perfect for children and adults alike, Hot Wheels Unleashed allows you to get behind the wheel of the coolest, fastest, and most legendary vehicles. There is a variety of cars to drive, tune and get to know even better.

Hot Wheels Unleashed will be available on PC, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Series X on September 30.

Five of Our Top Upcoming October Releases

Next up we have the releases for October. If those for September didn’t get you excited, hopefully, these will.

  • FIFA 22

FIFA 22 promises to bring the game even closer to the real thing with advanced technology, fundamental gameplay advances, and a new season of innovation across each mode. This title will be available on PS4, PS5 5, Xbox Series X and Series S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on October 1.

  • Far Cry 6

Due to the pandemic, this title has unfortunately received a few delays. However, it is finally set to be released for all those who have been patiently waiting. In this next entry of the franchise, players will take on the role of Dani Rojas as they face conflict with Anton and his son.

There will also be the DLC which will explain and answer questions the fans may have. Save space on your PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X on October 7 if you’re looking forward to this title.

  • Metroid Dread

This title ends the primary story arc established between Samus and the Metroid creatures. Samus must go to ZDR after seven EMMI robots are sent there. Where they will investigate the disappearances and discover what else is going on with ZDR.

Metroid Dread will be available on Nintendo Switch on October 8.

  • Back 4 Blood

Players will be fighting a horde of Zombies known as Ridden, as one of a group of veteran “Cleaners.” Each has their own personality, which should make for a good time regardless of who a player chooses to fight the undead with.

Back 4 Blood releases for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X on October 12.

  • Battlefield 2042

While all the previous titles for September and October have been well anticipated, this may just be the most exciting one of them all. The Multiplayer mode will tell a story since there will be no campaign and due to a Kessler Syndrome Event, 70% of satellites around Earth crash to the planet causing global blackouts.

In about two years, or by the year 2042, tensions related to these events increase to war between the United States and Russia. If this is a game you have an eye out for, save your storage as it will be available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X on October 22.

Even though this list had a multitude of options, I already know which game has piqued my interest but more importantly, which of these exciting titles has piqued yours?
