10 Second Ninja X Announced for PC, PS4, Vita and Xbox One for Summer 2016

10 Second Ninja was a sleeper hit when it first hit PC in 2014. The game, designed with the most hardcore action-platformer fans in mind, gives players ten seconds to complete any given level. The result? Blisteringly difficult gameplay using speedrun mentality with an addictive twist.

Not content with only catering to PC players, the newly announced sequel — 10 Second Ninja X — will be hitting consoles as well as PC. Developed by Four Circle Interactive and published by Curve Digital, players can expect the game on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and Xbox One in Summer 2016.

10 Second Ninja X boasts 60 new levels — so, if you are keeping track, theoretically six minutes of gameplay (to which Four Circle responds “That doesn’t sound like very long, does it? What is this? Firewatch?”) — however, the developers maintain that chasing perfect scores will keep you occupied for hours on end, depending on skill level.

Additionally, there will be an original story, hub world, unlockable ghosts, all of 10 Second Ninja‘s 40 levels, leaderboards, bross save, secret areas and more. Quite a lot if you ask me.

To wrap up the announcement, Curve and Four Circle shared a fantastic new trailer and a handful of screens (below) which you should absolutely check out. As mentioned above, 10 Second Ninja X comes to PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and Xbox One in Summer 2016.
