Okay, so Green Goblin, Charles Xavier, and Rey from Star Wars all walk into an apartment. No, that's not the setup for a joke, it's now the actual plot of the upcoming video game 12 Minutes. Well, sort of.

In a new trailer that premiered during today's Gamescom Opening Night Live stream, Annapurna Interactive released a new trailer for 12 Minutes which revealed the game's star-studded cast. Willem Dafoe, Daisy Ridley, and James McAvoy are confirmed to be playing roles within the title, which is quite the get for Annapurna and developer Luis Antonio. The new video itself was also narrated by Dafoe and showed off some new snippets from the experience.

In addition to announcing the game's cast, the trailer also confirmed that 12 Minutes will be releasing on the next-gen Xbox Series X platform. Previously, we had only heard about the title coming to PC and Xbox One. Being brought over to Series X isn't much of a shock, but it's definitely a nice addition all the same.

Perhaps the only downside to the new trailer itself is that it still didn't give us a release date. For now, 12 Minutes is only said to be "coming soon." Hopefully, we'll hear more about this one very soon.
