13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim Launches This November in Japan

Vanillaware and Atlus released a new trailer for 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim, revealing the game's release date and its limited edition.

Atlus and Vanillaware announced on July 17 that new information on 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim would come today, and it sure delivered. After years of wait, we’ve finally got a release date for the game. 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim will be launching on November 28 in Japan, exclusively on PS4.

The release date was revealed during a short stream, during which a new trailer was revealed. The trailer is nearly identical to the one found in the 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim Prologue demo, but shows the release date and a few exclusive shots, most notably revealing what seems to be a mix of realtime and turn-based tactical for the battle system.

Another stream will be happening today, July 18, revealing much more about 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim. Here’s the YouTube link and here is the Periscope link.

The first part of the stream will be held from 18:00 JST to 20:00 JST and include famous game journalist Mafia Kajita and famous sci-fi writer Koji Watanabe. The second and main part of the stream will be from 20:00 JST to 22:00 JST, and will include Takayuki Ishii, Kaoru Sakura, who both voices 2 of the protagonists, and Tomomi Isomura. Mafia Kajita and Koji Watanabe will still be present as well  The cast for the 13 protagonists was revealed in a previous trailer.

13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim‘s boxart was also revealed. The trailer also reveals the “13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim Premium Box” Limited Edition. It contains:

  • A PS4 copy of 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim
  • 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim Secret Files (a 132 pages artbook)
  • Second Generation Model 13th Unit Paper Craft Model Kit
  • PS4 Original Theme & Avatar Set DLC

13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim is also coming west but has no release estimate in the west yet.
