It’s been a very long time coming, but the next game in the Pro Skater series is finally here, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 is officially coming to PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One, with the current gen versions coming this year, the last gen versions coming at a later time.

The news comes by way of the latest issue of Game Informer. The new game from Activision and Tony Hawk is being developed by Robomodo, the people behind Tony Hawk: Ride and Pro Skater HD.

The new game plans to return to the series’ roots with some new additions. Classic combo chaining gameplay will be paired with power-ups and the ability to shoot projectiles for certain missions.

The game will also feature new levels with plenty of objectives to complete both solo and in co-op, plenty of new skaters, and a new skate park creator.
