1930s-Styled Cuphead Gets Traditional Platforming Stages in New Gameplay Video

Since its reveal at E3 2014, Studio MDHR’s Cuphead has been one of most highly-anticipated indie titles coming to Xbox One and PC, with a new gameplay video having revealed that the game will be expanding with more traditional platforming elements than what we’ve seen previously.

In a video reveal from IGN, new gameplay footage from Cuphead revealed new stages that feature traditional platforming gameplay, as the game previously would have solely consisted of large scaled (and highly-difficult) boss fights.

However, judging from the footage, it seems like the notoriously-difficult game will be just as hard on your thumbs when it comes to its platforming-focused stages.

Cuphead is currently in development for Xbox One and PC, with the game expected to release in 2016 – in the meantime, you can check out the new gameplay footage below:
