Developer Midboss announced that its game 2064: Read Only Memories will be coming to the Nintendo Switch in 2018.

The company retweeted this tweet confirming the announcement:

Midboss also announced that the Switch version of the game will come with a couple of new features including:

  • New voiced scenes
  • Fast skip, auto-save, and other core game improvements.
  • 2064 will run on the new "Turing Framework" for Unity on Switch.

2064: Read Only Memories was inspired by retro point-and-click adventure games. It's set in a cyberpunk world where you play as a struggling journalist alongside the world's first sapient robot, a ROM (Relationship and Organizational Manager) named Turing.

Together you'll both work to find your missing friend by interacting with environments and the game's colorful cast of characters. The storyline takes place in the city of New San Francisco.

The game features a dynamic storyline, voice acting, and lots of puzzles.
