20XX, a platformer-roguelike inspired by classic Mega Man titles, officially launched on PC after a stint in Early Access last August. Today, developers Batterystaple Games and Fire Hose Games announced that the title would finally be hitting consoles, namely PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch this July.

While the PS4 and Nintendo Switch versions of the game launch on July 10, Xbox One players will have to wait until July 11 to get their hands on the title. These consoles versions of 20XX will also include the Hawk DLC Pack, which added a third playable character. According to the developers, the game has sold over 100,000 copies on PC, so it makes sense that they would want to expand their horizons to include consoles.

For those of you who don't know, 20XX's gameplay is quite similar to the Mega Man titles at its core, but spices things up with procedurally generated stages to test players skills and even online multiplayer. Chris King, the Founder of Batterystaple Games, had the following to say about bringing 20XX to consoles:

"20XX is a marriage of classic action platformer gameplay with modern roguelike design. The project has been such an incredible success for our team on PC and we can’t wait to bring console players into the fold when it launches in July."
