During today's investor conference call, GameStop's honcho Tony Bartel mentioned that  2/3 of surveyed customers expect to own a next generation console a year from now. He also specified  that the company has run out of its allocations of PS4 units, but still has 2.3 million costumers on the "first to know" list, waiting to purchase the new console by Sony.

In addition to selling through all of our reservations and some additional allocations we received from Sony, we still have over 2.3 million customers on the first to know list, which indicates continued demand for months to come.

Also, the survey of our PowerUp rewards members shows that 2/3 of those surveyed expect to own a PS4 or Xbox One within the next 12 months.

Looks like we're in for a hell of a beginning for the next generation, and GameStop expects to grab a sizable slice of it.
