September 3, 2014

2K has released on YouTube the first episode in a series of behind the scenes looks at the development of WWE 2K15, offering insight to the amount of work being done to bring the game to the Xbox One and PS4.

The video goes on to show the extensive mo-cap work, facial scanning system and recording of commentary for the game. Developers spent weeks traveling in vans alongside the WWE crew in order to find time to set up back stage and record the footage they needed while the wrestlers maintained their incredible schedule. The sheer amount of work involved is staggering and interesting to watch whether you’re a fan of video games, wrestling or both.

You can check out the first episode in the video below and keep an eye on the WWE 2K YouTube channel for all the latest updates.
