343 Industries Details the Content Update Coming to Halo: The Master Chief Collection This Week

Halo: The Master Chief Collection has been holding fans over on the multiplayer front until the launch of Halo 5: Guardians on October 27. 343 has been monitoring community feedback on their official forums, Twitter and Reddit to gauge fans’ reactions to the matchmaking experience and is preparing a content update that will address player concerns.

While the update is still being developed, 343 has said it will hopefully ready later this week. The new patch will address ranking, map variety, weapons loadouts and penalties for quitting. There are playlist updates for each of the game included in the collection, including the newly-added “Infection” mode in the Halo 3 multiplayer.

Check out the full list of playlist updates and balancing updates at the official Halo Waypoint.
