Bandai Namco just announced Project X Zone 2 for the Japanese market, but there is one more surprise: the game is actually coming west this fall.

As mentioned in the previous article, Project X Zone 2, that apparently will lose the “Brave New world” subtitle for the western market, will be a crossover strategy RPG involving characters from Bandai Namco, Capcom and Sega games.

Developed by MONOLITH SOFTWARE INC., Project X Zone 2 gives gamers the opportunity to play as their favorite characters from a multitude of franchises including TEKKEN, TALES OF VESPERIA, .hack// series from BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Inc.; Resident Evil series, Devil May Cry series, Megaman X from CAPCOM as well as YAKUZA: Dead Souls, Sakura Wars, and Virtua Fighter from SEGA Interactive Co.,Ltd / SEGA Games Co.,Ltd, with many others to be revealed. Players will form teams of characters hailing from these classic franchises and engage enemies through strategic turn-based battles.

Below you can check out the western announcement trailer, a batch of screenshots and the box art.
