3DS to Have Three-to-Five Hour Battery Life

By Matthew Jay

What? Seriously?

According to Nintendo’s official 3DS hardware specs the 3DS will have 3-5 hours of battery life when playing 3DS games. The battery stretches a bit longer when playing original DS titles lasting around 5-8 hours which isn’t too bad.

Charging the system will take about 3 and a half hours, which depending on how hard you play, could be longer than the thing will stay on.

To those of you who were expecting to take your 3DS on long plane and car rides, let’s hope Madkatz releases some ugly-ass attachment that extends the battery power an extra… few minutes or so probably. Oh who am I kidding, of course they will.
