3DS XL Will Have Considerably Less Screen Glare

on July 24, 2012 11:00 AM

In case just being bigger and newer wasn’t enough for you this latest bit of news regarding the 3DS XL should pique some interest as Nintendo has revealed that the larger system will feature considerably less screen glare than its┬ápredecessor: roughly a 75% reduction in fact according to Siliconera. As with most advancements of this nature this feat was made possible by a reduction in the cost of the manufacturing process for this technology.

This should make those trips outside or more likely in a large well lit room much more conductive to an enjoyable gaming experience. Is this enough to help sell you on a new 3DS or choosing your first one as the XL model?
