3v3 MOBA Flame vs Blaze Coming to North America in 2017, New Trailer Released

The upcoming 3v3 mobile MOBA gets a brand new English trailer today.

Today Square Enix released the first English trailer for their upcoming 3v3 MOBA (Massive Online Battle Arena), Flame vs Blaze.

The trailer showcases some of games’ unique gameplay mechanics and shows off a few of the characters we will get to use when it releases later this year on mobile devices.

Flame vs Blaze doesn’t look to be another throw away free to play mobile MOBA, with high profile industry veterans assisting with the development of the game.

The all star development team will include Producer Hironori Okayama (Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ), Director Yuji Abe (Final Fantasy XIII series), with character designs by Gen Kobayashi (The World Ends With You).

Square Enix has provided a brief description of Flame vs Blaze:

Unique to Flame vs Blaze, players team up with up to two friends in 3-on-3 battles to destroy the opposing team’s reactor. Players can choose their own playstyle: enter the fray against fearsome monsters to make them your allies and bolster your base’s defenses, or go head to head against other agents and assault enemy territory. After a certain amount of time, the reactors come to life and commence a full-out attack against each other. Players must work together to communicate quickly, think strategically and maneuver the battlefield carefully to defeat the opposition.

Being a huge MOBA fan myself, I’m usually not very interested in mobile iterations, but from the trailer released and screenshots shown, Flame vs Blaze is definitely on my radar of upcoming games.

Flame vs Blaze is scheduled to release on mobile devices later this year.
