Spike Chunsoft announced that the visual novel adventure 428: Shibuya Scramble will be heading west digitally and physically on PlayStation 4 and PC-via Steam in Summer 2018.

The story of 428: Shibuya Scramble is told through pictures of live action actors, where players must make split-second decisions that will affect the lives of the entire cast. As five protagonists who really have no connection find themselves thrown in a series of events that could cause huge changes in their lives.

Additionally, the story revolves around a kidnapping case and is told over a 10 hour period of time where each character finds themselves invested in the case, even if that's not how they thought their day would end up.

During gameplay, players will discover many bad endings as they attempt to lead the characters down the correct path, but, evidently, the journey is where 428: Shibuya Scramble shines and not the conclusion. The game has received many fans over the years including Japanese media outlet Famitsu Weekly who awarded the game a 40/40.
