Further Look At Minecraft Version 1.18

With the humongous Minecraft Caves and Cliffs update being separated into two separate versions, fans are still eagerly awaiting the arrival of part two.

At the moment, players are being spoon-fed parts of 1.18 via weekly snapshots, but that doesn’t mean we know everything about the 1.18. It’s highly likely that Minecraft Live will showcase some new blocks, features, or gameplay for the final release of 1.18.

This would be similar to when Minecraft 1.15 was in development during Minecraft Live and new blocks and features were showcased for the upcoming update.

Of course, exactly what will be shown from the new version is a bit of mystery.

Minecraft 1.18 Release Date

Continuing with 1.18 speculation, it’s possible that players finally get a set release date for Caves and Cliffs Part 2, otherwise known as Minecraft 1.18.

Back in April of 2021, Mojang revealed that the Caves and Cliffs update would be separated into two updates. This was a huge blow to fans after we all believed we would be getting the whole update in one go.

Now, with 1.17 being released at the beginning of June, we all want to know when we can get our hands on 1.18. Currently, all we know is that the release date for the second Caves and Cliffs update is late 2021.

Hopefully, Minecraft Live will finally reveal a solid update for 1.18.

First Look At Minecraft Version 1.19

Although we’re still waiting for the release of 1.18, with development likely coming to a close on the huge update, Mojang Studios will definitely know what’s in store next for Minecraft.

Although 1.19 is still going to be some time away, there’s a chance that we get an announcement surrounding the theme of 1.19. Whether it’s an update to the End, or something completely new, Mojang is likely ready to hype us up for the next update.

With 1.17 and 1.18 being the games biggest updates yet, we don’t expect 1.19 to be anything crazy and will likely only include some small changes and features. But nevertheless, we’ll likely find out what the theme is at the event.

Minecraft Dungeons News And Updates

Moving on from Minecraft, you can bet your bottom dollar that Minecraft Dungeons will be appearing in some capacity.

With the game being such a massive success for Mojang Studios, and even recently releasing on Steam, fans will more than likely receive some news on what’s next for the hit game.

The developers will likely recap the success of Minecraft Dungeons, before revealing a future update or DLC.

New Minecraft Mob Reveal

Finally, something we can say with certainty is the reveal of a brand new mob.

Fans will have the opportunity to vote between 3 new mobs, the mob with the most amount of votes will be added into the game in a future update. Currently, only one mob has been revealed, the glare. The remaining two mobs will likely be revealed in the build-up to Minecraft Live 2021.

Don’t miss Minecraft Live 2021, this Saturday, October 16th at 12PM EDT.
