Robot Gentleman teased that we would be hearing more about 60 Parsecs! soon back in June, and we have finally learned more today. The Polish indie developer released a new trailer for the game and revealed that 60 Parsecs! would be hitting PC on September 18.
60 Parsecs! is a spiritual successor to Robot Gentleman’s last game 60 Seconds!, so its premise is fairly similar. Nuclear war begins to erupt, and players have sixty seconds to gather their crew and necessary supplies before the bomb drops. After escaping, players then have to survive on what they have.
The game has really iterated and improved this latter portion, as players will have to explore the universe to find a new home for humanity, manage and build up relationships with their crew, and even deal with aliens. 60 Parsecs! also introduces a crafting system, which makes it easier to restock lost supplies if you have the right materials.
