86 Eighty-Six episode 5 spoilers

We’ve translated the spoilers summary from the Japanese official site as usual. Keep in mind it doesn’t reveal everything about the episode. Moreover, I might be using different spellings than what you’re used to for names and terms.

“The Republic will soon celebrate the Revolution Festival. Lena hesitates going to the party, and Shin tells her that “no matter what you do inside the walls, it doesn’t affect us”. She reluctantly decides to participate. At that moment, Lena hears of an enemy attack, but Shin strangely tells her “I want you to cut the Para-RAID this time”.

Eighty Six is originally a light novel written by Asato Asato and illustrated by i-IV and Shirabi (also known for The Ryuo’s Work is Never Done). The series is pretty heavy on political themes, even for the usual mecha anime, and it’s definitely interesting to follow.
