Bitmap Bureau and Rising Star Games announced new release dates for the Nintendo Switch version of 88 Heroes – 98 Heroes Edition in both North America and Europe today. The game will now release digitally on October 12 in both North America and Europe, while the physical version will hit European retail stores on October 6 and North American ones on October 10.

For those of you who aren’t aware, 88 Heroes – 98 Heroes Edition is the expanded version of this year’s 88 Heroes, and hit PC, PS4, and Xbox One earlier this year. The first bit of DLC this version includes is RSG Champions, which brings in eight new characters from other Rising Star Games published title.

Meanwhile, the H8 Mode Activate DLC adds two more heroes and eight challenge levels where players can test their skills. The game itself is a character-based platformer where players fight the nefarious Dr. H8; each hero has their own unique ability that changes gameplay up.

You can check out the game’s box art and the trailer for the Nintendo Switch version of the game below. 88 Heroes – 99 Heroes Edition is currently available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One, and will release on Nintendo Switch on October 6 and October 10 physically in Europe and North America, respectively, and digitally in both regions on October 12.
