A new report released on Google Play found that the app store's downloads and overall revenue has increased. Even more interesting is the fact that 90 percent of Play's revenue comes from video game purchases and downloads.

Furthermore, out of that amount 98 percent consists of F2P "freemium" titles. The Asian market dominates Google Play downloads -- particularly Japan with a growth of 2.4 times in Q1 2014 only. Download the official report here, and check out the charts below.
