Dying Light 2 Update 1.31 is now live and it brings a bunch of fixes to further improve the game's overall experience and gameplay.

Today, Techland released a brand new update for Dying Light 2, which is only a small hotfix but wipes out some major issues that could annoy you while playing the game.

If you have been haunted by the game's prologue mission from time to time, taking you back to the first quest of the game in the middle of your missions, this issue can no longer annoy you.

Dying Light 2 Update 1.31 Patch Notes

  • Fixed the problem in which players sometimes ended up in the prologue area even though they had already finished the prologue and progressed to Villedor
  • Fixed the problem in which players could not rest in safe zones because of the frozen daytime
  • Fixed various connectivity issues.

Keep in mind that this update is only available on PC and PlayStation consoles at the moment. The Xbox version of the update will be rolled out at a later date.

Despite launching Dying Light 2, Techland is still committed to supporting the original entry of the franchise, and recently released a new update with some balance changes for Be The Zombie mode as well as a content pack!

Dying Light 2 is now available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC. The Nintendo Switch version of the game has been delayed indefinitely, but it is expected to be available later this year.
