A .hack Fighting Game? Yes Please

By Kenneth Richardson

March 22, 2012

I haven’t played a .hack game since .hack//Infection hit the PS2 eight years ago. But that doesn’t matter though, because Namco Bandai is readying a new title, and it looks way cooler than the other ones. .hack//Versus is  a fighting game based in the .hack universe. It will be available as part of .hack//Sekai no Mukou ni + Versus. The other half of the bundle is a .hack CG movie and it looks pretty gorgeous.

What do I mean ‘looks’? There’s a new trailer out for the bundle and you can view it after the break. It’s pretty much identical to what Namco did with Tekken Hybrid. Currently this release is only scheduled for Japan, where it’ll release on June 28th exclusively for PS3. Most .hack games have made it to the US, so let’s hope this one follows suit.
