Something for all of the retro game nerds out there who are so retro they can handle ball mouses, the Mario Mouse was a Japan-only novelty made by Banpresto in 2005 and 2007 as a UFO Catcher prize. The mouse has the classic Super Mario Bros. design of Mario, making it a cool-looking device, but users say that it's extremely uncomfortable to use. As such, it became primarily a collector's item rather than a product one would actually make use of.

Banpresto also released Goomba and Starman versions, both of which were equally outdated and uncomfortable. However, each of these mouses goes for about $24 at auction, making them a decently priced novelty. A cool product for any retro game fan.
