A New DuckTales: Remastered Trailer Introduces Us to the Moon (it’s Not Made of Cheese)

Launchpad gives Scrooge McDuck (and by extension us) an overview of the Moon stage in DuckTales: Remastered, which was released today for Steam, PS3 and Wii U.

Scrooge McDuck takes a trip to the surface of the moon but since Launchpad’s plane can’t reach that far, they have to take one of Gyro Gearloose’s spaceships up there. Fenton Crackshell, Scrooge’s accountant, decides to tag along for the ride. Enemies on the moon include alien life forms, metal ducks and rats and while the moon isn’t made of cheese, you can still obtain the “Green Cheese of Longevity” (which Launchpad warns not to eat).

DuckTales: Remastered was reanimated from the ground up, given voice work done by the original cast and features beautiful hand painted backgrounds by the original Disney artist. The extensive effort really shows and makes the game look incredibly authentic. Watch the trailer below and see if you don’t feel the waves of nostalgia.
