Nintendo has released a Japanese trailer for their upcoming 3D Mario game, Super Mario 3D World, which includes extensive footage of the brand new cat suit in action.

We also get to see some new items, such as the Battery Box which shoots projectiles, the Light Box that flashes a strong light (the light is useful against ghosts and for illuminating dark areas), the Coin Box which has the ability to increase the player's coin count, and the Propeller Box that lets Mario hover in the air.

There are other items introduced to this game as well and you can see all of them and the other gameplay mechanics in the trailer below.
