A Pair of THQ Babies Delayed, Red Faction & Homefront

By Chris Guzman

September 21, 2010

THQ has recently announced that two of their upcoming games have been delayed. (Inset Shocked Face Here) Sadly, one of these games is the sequel to the sleeper hit Red Faction, and has slipped into May 2011, while the other, Homefront has fell back into a March 2011 release window.

Coming off a 2010 Q1 Loss of about $30 million, it’s not too surprising that one, maybe two games were gonna be pushed back as THQ tries to cut costs, although it seems odd to delay one of their most anticipated games of 2011. Then again, my name isnt’ Brian Farrell is it?

An avid gamer since birth, I consider myself a new-age gamer. My first system was the N64, but the first system I really cared about was my Xbox Original. I'm a computer science major in college, and spend all my money on games, and stuff I don't need. I've never played Zelda or many Mario games in my youth. I'm also a huge sports fan, and a chick flick lover. My favorite games include Gears of War, Halo, Fallout, GTA, Mass Effect, and Metal Gear Solid.
