A Plague Tale: Innocence from developer Asobo Studio and publisher Focus Home Interactive pushed a new E3 Trailer —which you can view below— that shows dramatic cinematics for the title that was originally announced back in January 2017.

The title tells the story of two siblings Amicia, and Hugo during the dark times of the Black Death and set in a 12th century France. The game will incorporate adventure, action, and stealth gameplay as players are on the run from Inquisition soldiers while at the same time trying to uncover a dark, supernatural secret and avoid the swarm of deadly rats.

The trailer for A Plague Tale: Innocence shows us a battleground now littered with corpses before cutting to Hugo either having a flashback or a vision of rats devouring everything in their path. Rats flow out of openings like liquid and swarm the ground as various shots of Amicia, and Hugo shows them looking on distraught. The trailer ends as the camera pulls out to reveal the two siblings surrounding by rats, protected only by the torch's light that Amicia is holding as she protects her brother.

We last saw A Plague Tale: Innocence at last years E3 when it dropped a teaser trailer. Since then we've seen screenshots and learned that there are no plans to bring the game to the Nintendo Switch.

A Plague Tale: Innocence will be arriving sometime in 2019 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC platforms.
