Asobo Studio and Focus Home Interactive's upcoming title A Plague Tale: Innocence will finally see the light of day as it releases next month on May 14 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. This exciting title has grown a steady and excited audience over the past few months as the devs indulge gamers into the story's plot. I think it goes to show how well this game is doing thus far given that it has already gone gold, but if you're eager for more Plague Tale news, you've come to the right place.

To get us all in the mood for A Plague Tale: Innocence launch, Asobo Studio, and Focus Home Interactive have released a brand new video in which we get to witness the work Olivier Deriviere has done with the soundtrack that accompanies the title. The soft melody by Olivier Deriviere fits A Plague Tale perfectly also, you may have heard his other compositions before in the likes of Vampyr, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag - Freedom Cry, Remember Me, and Alone In The Dark.

We also get a taste of the creative palette of A Plague Tale: Innocence's art director Olivier Ponsonnet as he produces a speed painting of Amicia, the game's protagonist. As Olivier paints, Amicia and rats come alive with every stroke - so if you have a fear of rats, make sure to get some therapy before playing A Plague Tale as there are thousands of them at every turn. Thankfully, I think they are kind of cute.

A 12-track sound selection from the game is also available on vinyl as part of pre-orders of the PS4 and Xbox One versions at some retailers. More of Deriviere’s work is available on Spotify and Twitter.  If you’re interested in learning more about this game, you can check out DualShockers’ preview of the opening chapters of the game as well as our interview with Game Director Kevin Choteau.

A Plague Tale: Innocence will release for PC, PS4, and Xbox One on May 14.
