A Study in Potions Genshin Impact Event Primogems & Rewards Guide

Our guide for Genshin Impact 2.4 Event A Study in Potions: Dusty Wrack

January 7, 2022

The first Event of Genshin Impact Version 2.4 has just started, A Study in Potions, here is our quick guide to help you go through the Event & the Primogems and rewards you can earn.

To access A Study in Potions, you’ll first have to trigger the Quest called Elixirs and Potions by speaking to Timaeus in Mondstadt. He’ll be shown on your map, and all the objectives as well, as long as you activate Navigation on the Quest. All of the Quest is a series of cutscenes you should read.

Genshin Impact Event A Study in Potions – Dusty Wrack (day 1)

Once you’re done with the Quest, the A Study in Potions Domain will appear and you can teleport to it through the Events menu.

This is an Arena Event where you pick your characters and Potions before fighting waves of enemies.

A Study in Potions is actually one of the best Events like these as it’s pretty challenging and strategical for once. There are four floors, and you’re free to start with whichever floor. However, the four characters you’ve picked for a floor will be unavailable for the next floor.

A Study in Potions – Dusty Wrack floor order

Personally speaking, I recommend going to Stage 3, 2, 1, and 4, leaving the floor with Treasure Hunters for last as they’re the easiest to handle enemies. As each time you clear a floor, the next floor you pick has stats buffed enemies.

A Study in Potions – Dusty Wrack rewards

You’ll most notably earn 140 Primogems for clearing the Dusty Wrack part of A Study in Potion. There will be three parts in total, so we should get 420 Primogems in total.
