Creative Assembly has finally announced their DLC for A Total War Saga: Thrones of Britannia, aptly named Blood, Sweat and Spears, which is available to purchase now on Steam, and free to those who already own the Attila: Blood & Burning DLC. Get ready for more bloodshed, beheadings, and artisanal arterial arcs!
But that’s not all, as there’s an auto-update for Thrones of Britannia called Allegiance Update, which is free for all players of the game. This revamp updates and rebalances many areas of the game that the developers took into consideration from feedback given by players. Specifically, these changes introduce greater depth to politics, revised battle AI, and adds new Allegiance and Decree systems, which are similar to the Rites feature in Total War: Warhammer II.
The Allegiance Update hands out new bonuses to pagan kings, reshapes buildings with new tech sections, enhances the politics UI, adds more varieties of estates, fixes bugs, and faction mechanics which are all illustrated in the major changes on the Allegiance update notes.
At the start of the year, Creative Assembly announced that A Total War Saga: Thrones of Britannia would release for PC on April 19 and had listed the system requirements needed to run the game.
A Total War Saga: Thrones of Britannia – Blood Sweat and Spears DLC is available now on Steam to players who bought the Attila: Blood & Burning DLC, but on its own, it costs $2.99.
