The Abandoned teaser gets delayed as the developer faces an issue updating the Realtime Experience app on PlayStation 5.

Today was the day that Blue Box Game Studios had promised to update the Abandoned Realtime Experience app with a new teaser, but it didn't arrive on time.

Although the developer shared a few seconds of the Abandoned teaser on Twitter, soon after they revealed that they have faced an issue in applying the new patch into the app, which delays the launch of the promised teaser indefinitely.

Why You Can't Watch the Abandoned Teaser on Realtime Experience App

The developer says they will fix the issue as soon as possible, but it's yet to be seen how much this could take them to apply the new patch.

Right now, you can download the Abandoned Realtime Experience from the PlayStation Store on PS5, but once you run the app and choose your language, you will see a screen telling you to "check back soon."

What Is All the Buzz Around Abandoned?

Abandoned has been a mysterious project since its announcement as many believe it is only a front to a major surprising project from Konami. While both Blue Box Game Studios and Hasan Kahraman, the game director, have denied the rumors, people still believe in a new Metal Gear Solid or Silent Hill project beyond Abandoned.

The new teaser shared on the Blue Box Game Studios Twitter account shows a person walking in a wooden room. As the small indicator at the bottom of the teaser reveals, the footage has been captured on PS5.

Abandoned will be available on PS5 on an unannounced date.
