Halloween may have just ended but in the world of cosplaying, dressing up as your favorite character is a daily occurrence. Since the launch of The Last of Us Part II in June this year, we have seen countless folk wanting to dress up as a character from the game. Where most cosplayers make a beeline for Ellie or Joel, we have seen others wanting to take on the hardass that is Abigail "Abby" Anderson who is the playable false protagonist of The Last of Us Part IIIf you're a fan of the game, you may know that Jocelyn Mettler lent her face to the character Abby and for Halloween this year, Mettler decided that there was no better character to dress up as than the one she looks like the most.

Jocelyn is a VFX artist who previously worked for Naughty Dog as a QA Analyst on Uncharted 4: A Thief's End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy and this is where she got scouted by one of the team to be the face of Abby. Although Jocelyn has since stepped away from Naughty Dog and joined Beyond-FX, Abby will continuously follow her everywhere, especially so by fans, so this was the perfect opportunity for her to give them what they have always wanted and that's to see Abby truly brought to life. Posted on Jocelyn's Instagram, she really gets into the role of the character by even going as far as to beef herself up by stuffing her shirt making it look like she has those ripped muscles Abby showed off throughout the game. In another shot, we see her chow down on a protein-filled burrito too in which Abby ate in the game to maintain those crazy abs.

When fans found out that Jocelyn was indeed the face model for The Last of Us Part II, the hype amongst the community was unprecedented. This, of course, led to Jocelyn getting some hate from people who didn't appreciate what the make-believe, totally not real character did in the game and decided to, moronically, take it out on the face model making the already private Jocelyn, retreat further from the public eye. For those of you who are wondering who Naughty Dog used as the incredible body shape for Abby, that was none other than Colleen Fotsch, a well-known athlete who lifts huge weights and who could easily crack our skulls open like a nut with those thighs so don't even try to hate on her!

You can check out Jocelyn's Instagram and Twitter but as she's naturally a private person and also a very busy one, not too many posts are uploaded but there's plenty to catch up on if you want to browse. Please also remember, Jocelyn is another human who deserves respect and kindness. Do not go posting hate on her socials or anyone else involved in the game. If you find yourself wanting to do that, then I think it's time you probably need to grow up and have a talk with yourself.

To check out a wholesome video of Cascina Caradonna, who is Dina’s face model from The Last of Us Part 2, reacting to seeing herself in the game, head on over to this article. If you happened to think you were imagining hearing director/writer Neil Druckmann and co-writer Halley Gross chatting over the radio as two WLF members towards the end of the game with Abby, you weren’t wrong as apparently Druckmann and Gross lent their voices for this particular scene. For something a little different, check out this really awesome mashup of scenes from The Last of Us Part 2 in Studio Ghibli’s iconic artstyle.
