Today Bandai Namco released a batch of new screenshots of Accel World VS Sword Art Online: Millennium Twilight, giving a look at characters and gameplay.

We get to see Strea, Philia and Argo from Sword Art Online, and  Aqua CurrentMetatron and Ardor Maiden from Accel World.

On top of the characters, we explore the powers that they will be able to use. Characters from Accel World will be able to use Acceleration to instantly approach their enemies and deliver surprise attacks. This also unlock the “high jump” ability for linear aerial movement that can tackle with flying monsters and faeries alike. Each Burst Linker also comes with an unique ability.

Characters from Sword Art Online can fly freely in order to regroup when in trouble or strike from above. They can also take advantage of magic for long right attacks, and it becomes more powerful as you keep using it. They can also switch between different weapons.

We also get a look of online PvP and co-op, that allows players to compete against each other for rewards. Pitching acceleration versus flight is an interesting combination. Co-op gameplay is also possible, with up to sixteen players in the same instance.

You can check out all the images below. If you want to see more you can also watch the opening song,  a recent trailer, and  thee first TV commercial.
