Today Bandai Namco released a new batch of screenshots of Accel World vs. Sword Art Online: Millennium Twilight.

We get to see two new stages, Snow Mountain and Ghost Ship, and two characters, Kuroyukihime and Chiyuri Kurashima. Interestingly, they both appear in their “Accel Assault” costumes, featured in the discontinued game that existed before Accel World. The reason for that is unknown.

We also get to see some of the CGI events included in the game, and with those the inevitable fanservice. This is a Sword Art Online game, after all.

We also get to see some battle screenshots, including special techniques for a few characters. Interestingly, the “switch” mechanic will have a further dimension in this game, due to the different abilities of the cast depending on which series they come from, so switching according to the situation will be crucial.

Accel World vs. Sword Art Online: Millennium Twilight releases in the west this summer, and in Japan on March 16th, for PS4 and PS Vita.

You can check out plenty of gameplay here. Made you look, didn’t I?
