Instagram user kosthedin received Pokémon X early, one of two versions of a game that isn't scheduled for released until October 12th. He then started posting screenshots of Pokémon X on his Instagram account and soon the pictures began to circulate around the internet.

He recently took down all the pictures and posted a single screen that stated "Got Nintendo'd," indicating he got busted for the leaks. Later on, he released a detailed update on his account about what allegedly occurred with Nintendo:

Nintendo flew a representative out this afternoon and went to the local game shop where I picked up X. The Nintendo rep had said heads were rolling at Nintendo because of the leaks. I gave up my copy of the game to try and help keep the local game shop out of trouble and to keep my friend from losing his job.

It's interesting to see how quickly Nintendo seemed to have nipped this alleged incident in the bud.
